Here we explain a few things we are accustomed to ask or believe that you can be interesting, if you have any questions you can write to Coordinador General.
About the activities, presentations and stands.
1. I have no idea of spanish, will i be able to understand the convention? We are sorry to inform you that all activities are in spanish except for the guests presentation. Actors always give their convention in english and afterwards are translated into spanish (so you shouldn't have problems in understanding them). We have several non-spanish speaking guests who repeat every year, so we understand they enjoy and supply the language difficulties with the help of our english speaking staff and other attendees, language does not seem to be a barrier to worry about.
2. "Do the stands have opening hours or are they open all day? The stands have opening and closing hours, they are: 9:30 to 13:30 and from 16:30 to 19:30 approx.
3. "Can i buy gifts in the stands? Of course, every year, we have a thousand temptations to buy and gifts, plus autographs and autographed photos, which are always a nice and original gift.
4. I'm thinking of going to the convention, but i do not know anyone. Shall i be bored? No way! Espatrek ® is a great group of friends and also the organization has staff to guide and integrate those who have not attended before. You will feel at home in five minutes!
5. Can i smoke in the convention? Yes, in designated areas, if you are a resident you must specify in your registration.
6. Since i'm going to be staying in zaragoza i'd be interested in sight seeing the town. Are there any tours planned? Actually, during the convention, since the program is so intense, you will not have time for sightseeing. However, if you stay a day before or after the convention, we have contracted special rates with the hotel for you to expand your registration time in the hotel.
7. Can i record and take pictures of activities, expositions and stands of the conventions? Yes, of course. We all want to save Espatrek ® memory so yes you can record and take pictures of activities, exhibitions and the convention in general, so you can watch it back at home afterwards. Besides obviously those pictures and videos you can share with among the attendees, however there are shy people who would not like to appear on the network. For that reason and as a courtesy, photos and recordings can not be uploaded in public webs, private web sites and file sharing of videos as youtube, without the prior authorisation of the organization of espatrek ®. Do not be afraid in requesting authorisation from us because except for some very particular cases, surely there will be no problem.
About our guest
1. Can you record and take pictures of star guest at the conference? Yes, but with limitations. Video can be recorded in the first 5 minutes of conferences (or other activities as signing autographs) and the moments before and after them. To take pictures, you can take with flash the first 2 minutes of his conference (or undertake other activities such as signing autographs) and the moments before and after the activity. During the rest of his conference, you can take more pictures without flash.
2. Can i record and take pictures with guests during the convention? (that is, outside of his presentation) our guests also come to enjoy the convention, we want him to be a member of our family so we'd rather not have to worry about cameras taking pictures every minute, so you can relax and enjoy the convention altogether. If necessary, you can consult with the staff members or the translators of the guests. In any case, these recordings and photographs have to be for private use only. Obviously these photos and recordings you may share among participants, but can not be uploaded on internet without prior authorization from Espatrek® organization.
3. "can we ask the guest for autographs outside the autograph session? No, autographs shall take place at the time established for it. Any exceptional case, please consult Espatrek® organization.
4. Can i walk up to the guest and ask him at the convention? For the same reasons stated in section 2, we're sure he will be glad to chat with everyone and answer our questions but we hope that as a gesture of politeness to him, consult with the staff or translators.
5. Can i make gifts to the star guest? Yes, of course, but unfortunately we are forced to set severely limit to this gesture. There are many types of gifts, although we are sure guests are very grateful, they might give them problems at the airport. So, gifts should be small, that may fit their luggage without any problem, and cant be alcohol or food, and other gifts that may break at one side or may involve the passenger to have to pass through customs, with the costs this can generate to our guest (who could not even get back into their country.) In any case, please consult Espatrek ® organization to advise you about the possibility of making the gift.
6. I'm not able to go, but i'd like to get an autograph from the guest. "can i ask someone to send it home to me? Of course, in the registration section, you can request an autograph to be sent to your home address.
7. "i can take a photo that i have at home for an autograph from the guest? Yes, visitors bring plenty of photos to choose from, but you can bring your own photo or anything from home. What matters is the autograph, not where they sign it.
ABOUT PRIVATE LUNCH OR DINNER WITH THE GUEST
1. Can i ask all the questions you want to the guests? The private dinner is a relaxed dinner, where all participants share a table, delicious food and pleasant conversation. We do not want it to be a question and answer to the guests, the conference covers this aspect quite well. It will be a lunch with friends, where the issue is to make the guests feel as one of our family, that does not mean that if the question is appropriate at the time or the guests asks us to do so then don't doubt asking.
2. I have no idea of english, will i not be able to understand the attendees at the dinner. At dinner, there will be at least one translator who will help so no one is left out of the conversation, so the language should not be a barrier.
3. Can i record and take pictures during dinner or private meal? As we want you all enjoy the meal as possible, just forget about the videos and cameras and enjoy it. A cameraman of the organization shall take a group photo at the end of dinner, photo that shall be sent to each of those attending the same for you to keep as souvenir of the evening. That photo you can share among participants, but can not be uploaded to internet without prior authorisation of Espatrek® organization.
4. Can i get dressed for dinner or lunch? It's a special dinner, a unique opportunity to share a table with the guest so please do not go in costume and if you can, wear formal dress/suit (no need to be excessively formal).
5. My 4 year old son, can he come to the private dinner with the guest? Sorry, but the minimum age for this activity is 12 years old.
6. "can i attend the dinner or lunch without attending the convention as such As the dinner part of the convention activities you will have to pay the entry of the day for dinner plus the price of the dinner.
ABOUT THE ENTRANCE TICKET AND RESERVATIONS
1. "can i sign up directly on the convention? If you mean to sign in without being federated, as members of spanish trekdom are referred to, of course it's possible. We strongly recommend you to realize your registration on the web-page in advance to have better prices. If you want entrance tickets plus accommodation, the deadline to make this type of inscription is detailed in the appropriate section of this site one month before the deadline of simple entrance tickets. After the date mentioned there, you should contact the organization that will try to arrange it, if this fails, the reservation of accommodation and meals must be treated directly with the hotel, accepting its normal rates.
2. I have completed my data in the form, but do not know if registration is done. After entering your details in the form, you must click on verify data, after adding other observations, you see the price, and at the end just below, you press on submit. After this, a message appears with the current account where payment must be made and the registration number. If you do not get this information, your registration has not been made.
3. If you register and pay the reservation, but eventually something happens making it impossible to assist, do i loose my money? The stated policy of cancellation is as shown below. If you cancel your reservation:
"until 15th of august inclusive, you will recover 60% of the total stay.
"until 15th of september inclusive, you will recover 50% of the total stay.
"until 1st of october inclusive, you will recover 25% of the amount paid.
"from october 1 the money can not be refunded. Always these percentages shall be applied on the total amount of registration.
